SHAVING MY MOTHER'S HOLY HAIR

SHAVING MY MOTHER'S HOLY HAIR
Letting go of your hair, you let go of all negativities;
The seed of Bodhi sprouts awaken, in homage to Buddha

Shaved my Mother's hair, my eyes watered.
These hair are thin and soft as silk
Your hair is silvery and hazed in the heavenly years
It captured all the fragrance, scented, and essence in life

Since you and Dad became a beautiful couple,
You never cut your hair once
Oh Mother, you kept your hair as if keeping a piece of the motherland
And just like that more than sixty years passed.

I shaved my Mother's hair, my joy is forever lasting
Now, you let go all of the desires and attachments
Letting go of your hair is so beautiful as the essence of the lotus flowers,
And now, you are just the embodiment of our Grandmother - So peaceful and elegant.

You two are so gentle and kind as the Buddha
Always sacrificing, teaching us to be productive and kind-hearted adults
Mother, your maternal love is love from the beginning of time
To the eternity, there you were and the Maternal love.

For us, Mother, you are the embodiment of Bodhisattva
In this life, with you, the world is much more beautiful
May you live long so that we can repay your love
Because, Mother - your maternal love is immense like the endless Galaxy.
