ONCE AGAIN, THE LUNAR YEAR IS COMING

ONCE AGAIN, THE LUNAR YEAR IS COMING

Spreading poetry in nature
Hoarding in the depth of the eyes the sun’s waited for rays
The Chưng and Tét cakes in the lunar New Year are so rhymes
Our ancient village, the old boat also still waiting in the sunset’s ray.

Why are so many of us afraid of Life and Death?
Just warming our hearts with these dark wines
Living in a foreign land, it’s freezing cold in the winter afternoon
And Lunar New Year's holiday kitchen is so empty?

Taking deep breathing, laughing at this earthly realm!
Realizing that our beauty, prestige, and fame are fading
Coming and going, life and death are as beautiful as a child
Our heritage, culture, and way of life is as golden as our kind virtues

The ancient eyes are as wide and wise as the beginning
Our peaceful heart is calm, at ease—as glitter as the truth.
