Torch of Jamphel Yeshi

Yet another Tibetan man, Jamphel Yeshi, died running-burning
in New Delhi
Tibetans protest with their ignited faces
Reflecting the flames of harsh Chinese policies that reduce the Buddha to ashes
Right into the indifferent face of Chinese President Hu Jintao as he arrived
for a one day summit of BRICS building with India

Yeshi wrote as he died

"The fact that Tibetan people are setting themselves on fire in this 21st
century is to let the world know about their suffering."
Many young Buddhist monks and nuns

burn,
voicing in the terrible awareness of the voice of their hot flames
A cry to attract the attention of Western countries
to China's Tibetan genocide.

Another self-immolation of a Tibetan

rings out like the sound of a great bell
Inviting, demanding action NOW
